Our Commitment
Every comparison on this site follows three rules:
No sponsored scores. We do not accept payment for scores, verdicts, or placement. If a tool pays us, it gets a disclosure — not a better score.
All data is traceable. Every score is backed by a cited source: public benchmarks, community consensus, official documentation, or disclosed hands-on testing.
Methodology is public. Our scoring framework, weight adjustments, and test methods are documented in every article and on our About page. If you disagree with a weight, you can see exactly how it affected the total score.
How Articles Are Created
Selection
We prioritize tool pairs based on:
- Search demand (are people actively comparing these two tools?)
- Decision difficulty (is the choice non-obvious?)
- Data availability (can we find enough reliable information to make a meaningful comparison?)
Research
Each article draws from:
- Public benchmarks: LMSYS Chatbot Arena, HumanEval, SWE-bench, Video Arena, and industry evaluations
- Community consensus: Reddit, Hacker News, official forums, professional communities
- Official documentation: Pricing pages, technical docs, release notes
- Hands-on testing: Identical prompts run across tools and compared side-by-side
When we use community consensus or benchmarks instead of hands-on testing, we disclose it in the article’s “Data Sources” section.
Review
- Every article is checked for factual accuracy before publishing
- Pricing tables are verified against official sources
- Scores are cross-referenced with available benchmark data
Updates

The “Last updated” date at the bottom of each article reflects the most recent substantive update.
Corrections
If you find an error:
- Open a GitHub issue with the article URL and the correction
- We verify and update within 48 hours
- Major corrections are noted at the bottom of the article
Independence
- Funding: This site is independently operated. Revenue comes from affiliate commissions and (future) display advertising.
- No pay-to-play: Scores cannot be purchased. Verdicts cannot be influenced by payment.
- Transparent methodology: If we change how we score, we update the public framework and note the change.
